Scott Lindsay Turner, 51, passed away on November 28, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 Center Circle in Sulphur, LA, with Pastors Erich and Leslie Mansell officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 2 p.m. until time of the service. Scott was a native of Florida and a long-time Sulphur resident. After high school, he served his country in the U S Air Force. Later, he graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Geology and received his Masters Degree in Minnesota. He worked for Shell for many years and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church. Scott is survived by his wife, Schanon Turner of Sulphur; three children, Kate Turner, Brandon Turner and Peyton Turner all of Sulphur; step-daughter, Hannah Jackson; father, Eugene Turner of Ocala, FL; two sisters, Shelley Turner and Shannon Turner both of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyne Turner.
