Scott R. Sarver

Scott Randell Sarver, 56, died on July 3, 2012 in Navasota, TX, as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident on that day. Scott was born and raised in Sulphur and graduated from Sulphur High in 1973. He lived most of his adult life in Southeast Texas, residing in Katy, TX for the last 20 years of his life. Scott worked very hard as a self-employed independent inspector/auditor, evidenced by the expression of the clients he serviced and the company for which he worked, of their deep appreciation for his years of dedicated service. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.


Family left to cherish his memories are his mother Tommie Lou Palombo Snow of Westlake, LA; sisters Becky Lou Sarver Lacock of Spring, TX and Teri Sarver Hungerford of Lake Charles, LA; nephews Brian Lee Cooley of Garner, NC, Robert Brandt Cooley of Nashville, TN; niece Staci Leigh Hungerford of Lake Charles, LA; grand nieces and nephews Brian "Keaton" Cooley of Garner, NC and Solomon, Scarlett, Sicily and Salem Arceneaux of Lake Charles, LA.


Scott was preceded in death by his father, Homer Sarver of Sulphur.


A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on July 28 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
