Sebastian "Chebby" Leith

November 17, 1962 — March 20, 2023

Sebastian C. Leith, or as we all know him as, Chebby or PawPaw Motorcycle, 60, was welcomed into heaven Monday, March 20, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV.

Chebby was born on November 17, 1962 in Aguascalientes, Mexico but was raised in Lake Charles, LA. He went to LaGrange High School and later went on to become a very proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 861 for many years as a Journeyman Wireman. (I hear that’s one of his nicknames, too.) His trade brought him to Las Vegas in the late 90’s where he contributed to the electrical work of the Rio Hotel and Casino, South Point, Mandalay Bay and the Wynn on the Las Vegas Strip. Later in life, he chose a different career path as a successful real estate agent, receiving numerous awards and certificates for his continued education in the fields of real estate, biology, psychology and Chinese medicine.

Chebby had lived over twenty-five years in Las Vegas, NV. Close to the mountains he could hop on his Harley Davidson or jump into one of his Camaros’, crank up Journey or Stevie (classic rock, forever!) and take in that mountain air. Looking for adventure in whatever would come his way, there were a few things he was always in search of: some sort of water source to dip his feet into, the perfect walking stick and an open field where he could pull over and go exploring. He loved his Madre, striking a good deal, learning anything new, reading his Bible and drawing. Grabbing a pretty lady by the hand and swaying to the music was always on the agenda. He also loved playing games and spending time with his family. Popping up on facetime with the craziest of filters are some of their fondest memories. He could engineer all types of things and working on his cars and cooking were some of the things that brought him joy. Oh, and his CAT! He loved that cat; even though he would tell you otherwise.

Chebby’s kiddos will always remember his Larger-than-Life spirit, waking them up on Saturday mornings to go treasure hunting aka garage sales, and how he could take the mundane and turn it up a notch so there was always fun involved. As long as there was good food, good music and something to tinker with you knew the good time was to follow.

He will be remembered by all for his impeccable >

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are; daughter, Sophia Bouey (Gavin) and grandbabies, Hayden and Abigail, son, Sebastian C. Leith II (April), and grandbabies, Harper and Sebastian C. Leith III, daughter, Amanda Lewis, and grandbabies, Fred, Keith, Katelynn and Breeanna, son, Adam Leith (Leah); sisters, Marion, Merrie Jean, Gwendolyn (John), Elaine, Hazel, Angelica, Maria (Geoffrey), Susana (Mickey), Lucia (Richard), Monica, Lilly (Mitch); brothers, Jimmy, Steven, John (Alicia), David (Ana), Manuel, Eric, Chris (Deedee); along with numerous nieces and nephews and his BFF’s, Picolé and Bashee Mayo.
