Sebastian "Roy" Reale

Sebastian “Roy” Reale, 78, of Lake Charles passed away on January 7, 2022 in a local care facility.

Sebastian was born in Sicily on March 22, 1943 and moved to the United States in 1967.  He opened D &R Automotive in 1980 and owned it for 41 years.  Sebastian was an avid player and legendary icon as a soccer athlete abroad and also coached locally his entire life. 

He had a love for cars but even more for his family.  Sebastian was funny, silly, adored, and loved by everyone who met him. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Gail Reale; children, Erik Reale (Stacy), Elizabeth Reale-Richard, Vance Reale (Delia), Alessandra Reale, and Victoria Reale (fiancé, James Lang); grandchildren, Parris, Hannah, Braelyn, Sawyer, and Luca Reale; sister, Paola Reale; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Sebasiana Reale and a grandson, Addison Richard. 

Pallbearers will be:  Parris Reale, Tony Sevier, Wayne Foster, Chuck Pierson, Brent Myers, and Terry Sevier.  Honorary pallbearers will be:  Istvan Pekar, Hilton Richard, Anthony Richard and James Lang.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  Monsignor Daniel Torres will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin on Monday at University Baptist Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until leaving for the church at 10:45 AM.
