On the morning of February 26, 2014, GOD came to Selidia and said, "It is time to go Home and leave this life of pain and suffering. It's time to go to a place of eternal peace and rest. Your work here is done, you have fought a good fight." Selidia was born on September 5, 1922 to the union of Joseph Victorian, Sr and Enola Willis, in Basile, Louisiana. Selidia met and later married Henry E. Ryan on October 27, 1946. To this union 4 children were born. Nancy Ryan, Milton Ryan, of Lake Charles, La. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, the Altar Society, and the church choir, until her health prevented her from doing so. She was at Mass, faithfully, every Sunday. One of Selidia's favorite things was playing bingo. She loved her Zydeco music. Selidia's great personality, her joking but firm nature, her dedication to her family and friends made her loved by many. Family was the most important thing to her.
