Sharon Diane Bollman Mickey

Sharon D. Mickey, 81, passed away May 8, 2024 in a local care facility with her family by her side.

Sharon was born on February 17, 1943 in Chino, CA, eventually residing in Lake Charles.  Sharon had two sons, John Mickey (Regina) and Steve Mickey (Missy) with husband, Tom Mickey.  She has six grandchildren, Karly Leavell (Michael), Caleb, Jillian, Haley Pruet (Sean), Paige Brasseaux, and Maicol Brasseaux; four great grandchildren, Camren, Natalie, Madalyn, and Saige.  She also leaves behind a sister, Beverly Hawley (Ray); and sister in law, Chella Bollman.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Stanley Bollman; mother, Bettie Conners (Jack); brother, Richard Bollman (Judy); and great granddaughter, Caroline Leavell.

Sharon was the kindest person anyone could have met.  She has touched the lives of so many people.

For the last three years, she was blessed to have become roommates and friends of Betty Stanley and her family the Lowrey’s (Ken, Toby, and Courtney).  What a blessing!!  Mom, you are an angel.  We will all sure miss that beautiful smile and kindness of your heart.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please take the time to contribute an act of kindness to someone.  Mom would appreciate that the most.

Until we see you again, we love you Mom.  Thanks for being you.  We are blessed.

A private gathering will be held on Sunday, May 12th to honor Sharon on Mother’s Day.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
