Sharon Kay Fontenot, 57, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. A Sulphur native, she had resided in Texas most of her life.
To Sharon, family was everything; from family reunions and listening to French music with relatives to just a simple visit with her loved ones. She cherished memories of Easter, her favorite holiday, especially those spent with her Mother. Sharon enjoyed listening to country music, playing pool, and was an avid sports fan of the Houston Texans, Astros, and Rockets. She was a supervisor for Chesterton Company of Conroe, Texas before her illness. Honoring Sharon’s wishes, her family will lay her to rest next to her mother.
Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Bobby Fontenot and companion, Faith and Gary Fontenot and his wife, LaRhea; three sisters, Linda Chapman and husband, Bruce, Donna Sieker and Diane Aucoin; three nieces; five nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Mildred Fontenot.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. The Rev. Marcus Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Wood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson and Robison from 5 -8pm Friday, April 20th and resume at 8am until time of service Saturday at 10am.
