Sharyl Cochran

Sharyl Mae Cochran, 63, of Ragley, LA died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Sharyl was born November 24, 1950 in Racine, Wisconsin to John and Anna Russell. She loved cooking, arts and crafts, crocheting, and playing on the computer. She also loved animals. Survivors include her mother, Anna Fegler of Wisconsin; husband, James "Doug" Cochran of Ragley, LA; two daughters, Jenny Martinez of Ragley, LA and Julie Moore of Glouchester, Virginia; three step daughters, Pamela Oakes of Oberlin, LA, Charlene Taylor of Houston, TX, and Shelly Caldwell of Houston, TX; four brothers, Darryl Russell , David Russell , Stanley Russell all of Wisconsin, and Johnny Russell of Denham Springs, LA; two sisters, Rosalie Russell of Wisconsin and Charlene Konkal of Wisconsin; and fourteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, John Russell; one son, James Mayfield, and one sister-in-law, Alice Russell. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Monday at 8:00AM until time of service. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park. Chris Fuselier will officiate services.
