Shelia Ann LeBlanc, 59, of Lake Charles, LA died Friday, July 24, 2015 in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. Shelia was born on March 2, 1956 in Mamou, Louisiana to John Ray LeBlanc Sr. and Martha Lee Courville. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles after moving here from Basile, LA. She enjoyed traveling with Sweet Pea, going to the hair salon, and shopping. Ms. Shelia also enjoyed traveling to visit her daughter, Nicole, in Port Arthur, TX. Left to cherish Ms. Shelia's memory are her two daughters, Jenny LaFleur of Sulphur, LA, and Nicole Lee Cessford of Port Arthur, TX; brother, John R. LeBlanc Jr. and wife Kim of Moss Bluff, LA; ten grandchildren, Summer, John, Heidi, Anjell, Blake, Sebastian, Isabella, Alicia, Lizette, and Scarlett; two great grandchildren, Shelby and Colby; and her caregiver Mrs. Juanita "Sweet Pea" Fondel. Ms. Shelia was preceded in death by her father, John Ray LeBlanc, Sr. and mother, Martha Lee Courville. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 8:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM. A special thanks goes out to her caregiver Mrs. Juanita "Sweet Pea" Fondel.
