Sherri S. Treme

Sherri Sarvaunt Treme, 50, of DeQuincy, LA died at 9:45 AM on Friday, February 25, 2011 in her residence.


Mrs. Treme was born October 16, 1960 in Winnfield, LA, and lived most of her life in Lake Charles before moving to DeQuincy seven years ago. She attended Lake Charles High School and was owner / operator of "Sherri's Cleaning Service." She attended Lake Charles Christian Vineyard with her family. Sherri enjoyed taking pictures, scrapbooking, and collecting figurines, but her greatest joy was her family and her cats. She will always be remembered as a hard worker who always put others before herself.


Mrs. Treme is survived by her husband Jeff Treme of DeQuincy; son, Clinton J. Chaline and wife Kaye of Erath; step-children, Nathanael Treme, Jeffrey Treme, Jr., and Merci Treme; mother, Kirsten Allen formally of Winnfield, LA; brothers, Shane and Steven Allen of Winnfield, LA; grandchildren, Shelby, Caden, Justin, and Spencer; and nieces and nephews, Aaron and Erica Nelson and Ragen Allen.


She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Amos Sarvaunt.


Her memorial service will be at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Lake Charles Christian Vineyard. Reverend Kelly Vigo will officiate. Visitation will follow the service at the home of Jeff and Sherri. A second memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2011 with Reverend Durbin officiating at Atlanta Baptist Church in Atlanta, LA. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in Atlanta Cemetery.
