Sherry Ann Duhon

Sherry Ann Flaherty Duhon, 70, of Lake Charles, LA died Thursday, March 19, 2015 in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Sherry was born on June 4, 1944 in Ferriday, LA to Edwin and Mary Isabell Flaherty. She enjoyed gospel music, singing, and decorating. She is survived by eight siblings, Linda Outon of Waxahachie, TX, Edwin Elwood Flaherty and wife Edna of Charlestown, IN, Katie Chapman and husband Tom of Cypress, TX, Nancy Veillion and husband Paul of Jennings, LA, Rachel Ebarb and Daniel of Hemphill, TX, Patrick Hale of Scott, LA, Melissa Landreneau and husband Danny of Lake Charles, LA, and Michael Shannon Hale of Moss Bluff, LA; a cousin and loving care taker, Judy Hoffpauir and husband Howard of Ragley, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Hollins Duhon; parents; and one brother, Steve Flaherty. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Resthaven Cemetery in Baton Rouge, LA. Rev Sherrill Styles and Steven Gautreaux will officiate services.
