Sherryl Ann Gow

Sherryl Ann Gow, 71, of Lake Charles, left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in a local care facility.

Ms. Gow was born in Crowley, LA on December 1, 1946 to Annabell and Robert Gow, Jr. After graduating high school she attended McNeese State University and got her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. After several years as a teacher she made the decision to join the United States Air Force and served our country for two years. Ms. Gow eventually retired from Conoco after working over 25 years as a Lab Technician. Most recently, she enjoyed spending time making memories with her family, vacationing, bird watching, and relaxing at home with her beloved dogs.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Diana Moroasco (Francis), Robert “Bob” Gow, III (Barbara); nieces and nephews, Angela (Ross), Nick (Kellie), Allison (Chris); great nieces and nephews, Lexi (Taylor), Noah, Gabe, Anna, Lily, Jacob, and McKenzie.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Gow’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. The Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to home health, Christus St. Patrick Hospital, and Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion during this delicate time.
