Shirley Anne Hebert

Shirley Anne Narro Hebert, 68, went home to be with her Lord at 3:15 PM on Friday, July 1, 2011.


Mrs. Hebert was born July 19, 1942 in East Jordan, MI and has lived in the Lake Charles area for the past forty-five years. She was a 1959 graduate of Central Lake High School and Sowela as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was also a graduate of Faith Bible Institute and a very active member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing about her Lord and will always be remembered as a devoted woman of God and as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.


Mrs. Hebert is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Donald Ray Hebert of LeBleu Settlement; daughters, Debbie Musk and husband Leonard Musk, Jr. and Donna Thomas and husband Roy Thomas, all of Pensacola, FL; siblings, William Narro of Lake Havasu, AZ, Marie Grover-Barr and husband James of Manistique, MI, Lois Lowden and husband James, Jr. of Alabaster, AL, Bette Henry of Petoskey, MI and Albert Narro of Palm City, FL; and five grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Donna Narro; infant sister, Bertha; brother, Joseph Narro; and sisters, Donna Boyette and Carmen Neumann


Her funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dale Nazworth will officiate. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the start of the service.
