Shirley Bushnell Fontenot

Shirley Mae Fontenot, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at a local heath care facility.

Those left to mourn Shirley’s loss and cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jim Habern of Dallas, TX; 2 sons, Kenn Lerch, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Jacque “Monte” Montgomery Fontenot of Dallas, TX; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayburn and Susan Nicholson Bushnell of Lake Charles, Julius and Lou Bushnell of Sulphur; sister and brother-in-law, Nona and Herbert Ryder of Lake Charles and 5 grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Daniel Fontenot and her parents, Julius and Leona LeJeune Bushnell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles with Rev. Julian Ryder officiating. Interment to follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 12 noon till time of service at 2PM.
