Shirley Lynn Touchet

Shirley Lynn Cooper Touchet, 62, of Lacassine, LA died at 11:30 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in her residence. Mrs. Touchet was born February 22, 1952 in Deer Park, TX, lived in Lake Charles for a number of years before moving to Lacassine nine years ago. She was the owner and operator of her own pet grooming business, Doggie Gone Clean. Shirley enjoyed horseback riding, boating, and camping and was a member of the W&L Trail Riders Group and Retreads Motorcycle Club. Her true passion was for her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Although she was very opinionated at times, she was a loving woman that will be missed by all. Mrs. Touchet is survived by her husband of nine years, Jacob Touchet of Lacassine; son, Danny Hollowell and fiancée Amy Clift of Moss Bluff; daughter, Tina Hollowell of Lacassine, LA; step-sons, Shannon Touchet and wife Michelle and Stacy Touchet and wife Andrea, all of Lacassine, LA; sister, Nancy Barnes of Texas; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
