Shirley McDaniel

With the heaviest of hearts we are paying tribute to the life and memory of Shirley Faye ( Free ) McDaniel, age 61, born on the 12th day of November, 1963. She is survived by her rock, best friend, the love of her life; her husband, Jeffery "Lane" McDaniel, children- Thomas, Tessia, Barry (wife Brittany), and Tara (husband Justin), grandchildren- Alyssa, Daxton, Erin, Brayden, Austin, Gunnar, Drake, Maverick, Major and Gambit, great grandchild- Drucilla. She is preceded in death by her father, mother Edna Mae (Felice) Free and her sister Marylou (Free) Istre.

 She was the happiest when she was with or around her family and loved harder than loves' true bounds. She loved her children immensely, to no avail, but her grandchildren made her entire world. She was the fullest in their presence and loved each and every one of them infinitely. She is cherished and loved by many, especially the love of her life, her other half, soulmate and best friend (our Dad). He was the staple of her life. They truly were each other's counterpart. They have 34 years of marriage, love through thick and thin they always seemed to make it work, their love for each other is and will always remain undeniably solid and everlasting. Please keep the family in you thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult journey of remembrance and reflection, Shirley (Mom/MawMaw) will be deeply missed.
