Shonnie L. Aisenbrey Taylor, 63, of Lake Charles passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in a local hospital.
Ms. Taylor was born June 12, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM to Carroll E. Thompson and Ruby Cherry Johnson. She lived most of her life Rye, TX, her home base, as she traveled the country with her experience and wealth of knowledge in the Electrical Industry. She was a Master Electrician with over thirty years in the industrial field, primarily with Kiewit, TIC. Ms. Taylor loved music: jazz, blues and a little of everything else. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and shopping. She was a lady of faith who will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her son and grandchildren.
She leaves to honor her memory, one son, Chance David Allen Aisenbrey of Rye, TX; sister, Cheri L. Thompson Kroll of Livingston, TX; four grandchildren, Destiny Barnhart, Tara Nance, Chaun Aisenbrey and Izabella Aisenbrey; brother, Chance Allen Shelley (Mary) of Cloverleaf, TX; stepdaughters, Dawn Taylor of Norman, OK and Tammy Taylor of Arlington, TX; six step-grandchildren, Alex, Davitt, Shelby, Hunter, Sawyer and Conner; extended family and dear friend, Donna Rhodes. She also leaves countless friends she has made in her travels throughout the country.
She was preceded in death, by her husband, James T. “J.T.” Taylor and her parents.
Memorial services in her hometown of Rye, TX will be at announced at a later date.
