Sidney LeJeune, Sr., 83, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
He was born on January 16, 1937 to Elis and Aveila LeJeune in Jennings, LA. He will be remembered as a loving father and family man. He worked at Westlake Upholstery for many years before retiring. In his spare time, Mr. LeJeune enjoyed watching LSU Sports and the New Orleans Saints.
Mr. LeJeune is survived by his daughters, Margaret Ann (LeJeune) Harris, Ann Louise (LeJeune) Gardner (Husband Tom); sons, Sidney LeJeune, Jr. (wife Tina), Thomas Tommy LeJeune (wife Angie), and James Joseph LeJeune (wife Donna); sisters, Agnes (Gary) Moreau and Annette (Gary) Trahan; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and ex-wife of 34 years, Betty Jean (LeBlanc) LeJeune.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elis and Aveila (Gary) LeJeune; and brother Edward LeJeune.
Visitation will be held at Crossroads Church in Moss Bluff Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. His funeral service will be held at Crossroads Church in Moss Bluff on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow service at Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
