Sidney Louis Trahan

November 6, 1985 — August 7, 2012

Sidney Louis "T-Boy" Trahan, 26, of Lake Charles passed away Tuesday, August 07, 2012 in a local hospital.


Mr. Trahan was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Parkview Baptist High School and worked as Security Guard at many businesses throughout the local area. During his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and football. He also enjoyed cooking, playing his guitar and every minute of his time with his baby dog "Crystal Ann" also known as "T-Girl". He was always a "kid magnet", everyone's "Uncle Sid", as the children loved him.


Mr. Trahan will be most remembered for his big heart and his willingness to do anything for anyone.


He leaves to honor his memory, his father Dale Trahan and wife Rhonda of Lake Charles; mother, Millie Domingue Sager and husband Harold of Edmonton, Canada; sister, Emily A. Trahan of Lake Charles; paternal grandparents, Allen W. Trahan and wife Edith of Westlake and Virginia Trahan of LeBleu Settlement; two step-sisters, Donna Joy Benoit of Sulphur and Angela Humphery of Lake Charles and his "baby dog", Crystal Ann.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robley and Pearl Domingue and step-brother, Jeremy L. Reeves.


Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Whitney Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Thursday will be from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a scripture service and Cursillo rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation Friday will be from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the funeral home.
