Sidney Rubin, Jr.

Sidney James Rubin, Jr., 45, of Lake Charles died at 1:58 AM on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mr. Rubin was born on June 21, 1965 in Lake Charles. He lived here all of his life and was a graduate of Lake Charles High School. He was a painter for Rhino Construction and belonged to Glory to Glory Holiness Church.

He was an avid Saints fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dannette Rubin; three children, Keithan James Rubin, Javin Green, and Keyon Taylor; his mother and step father, Mary Jane and Glenn Loving all of Lake Charles; three sisters, Yolanda Rubin of Baytown, TX, Sabrina Citrowski of Sulphur, and Misty Sirette Rubin of Lake Charles; one brother, Veto Rubin of Jennings; four nieces, Elizabeth and Ribbons Rubin both of Lake Charles; Sydney Citrowski of Baton Rouge, and Zakeland Citrowski of Lake Charles; and one nephew, Giovanni Rubin of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney James Rubin, Sr. and a brother, Giovanni Rubin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Wilbert LaFleur and Rev. Burkmen Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services.
