Skip Nunnally

Skip was a native of Tyler, Texas and long-time resident of Lake Charles. He honorably and faithfully served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Skip enjoyed a long career in sales. He was a Christian and a member of Sale Street Baptist Church.

Preceding Skip in death was his father, Wilbert Nunnally, Sr. He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memories, his beloved wife of 42 years, Loretta Miller Nunnally; two sons, Jeremy Nunnally (Deidre), Westlake and Jeffrey Nunnally (Amy), Springdale, AR; daughter, Tabitha Wood (Jeremy), Lake Charles; mother, Margaret Smith Nunnally, Tyler, TX; brother, Roger Nunnally (Sherry), Tyler; sister, Judi Hillman (Stafford), Spring, TX; grandchildren, Bryanna Wood, Lyla Wood, Julia Nunnally, Amelia Nunnally, Sofia Nunnally, Elijah Nunnally and Hadley Nunnally as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family of the heart.

A celebration of Skip’s life will be at 7:00 PM on Friday October 12 at Sale Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the church. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles.

The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. James Maze and his staff. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Broussard for his compassion as well as his staff.
