Son Thai Tran

Son Thai Tran, 23, of Lake Charles died Thursday, February 9, 2012.

He was born in Garden City, KS and grew up in Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and a senior studying Mass Communications at McNeese State University.

He is survived by his parents, An and Oanh Vu Tran; one sister, Van Tran of Louisville, KY; grandmother, Dung Bui of Bridge City, TX and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Father Nathan Long will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Saturday will be from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM in the funeral home.
