Sonja Hufstedler

Sonja Merle Halley Hufstedler, (December 26, 1938) passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 6:58 pm, at her home surrounded by her loved ones singing and praying.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Lester (Ozella) Halley of Sulphur, LA, her sister, Elaine Halley Schneider of Denver City, TX, stepdaughter-in-love, Tina Hufstedler Enis of Krum, TX, and numerous other uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Hufstedler, his son and daughter-in-love, John (Melissa) Hufstedler of Sulphur, LA, and late daughter's son Patrick James Davidson of Denton, TX, her son and daughter-in-love, Kevin (Jenny) Brewer, and their son, Brandon Todd Brewer of Sulphur, LA., her sister and brother-in-love Janelle (Tim) Dougay of Sulphur, LA, their sons, TJ Dougay, Bennon (Stephanie) Dougay (and two sons), and Chris (Morgan) Dougay, all of Sulphur, LA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00 am, with visitation beginning at 8:30 am at the funeral home, immediately followed by a graveside service to be held at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.
