Stanley "Stan" Warren

Mr. Stanley Warren, 89, of Lake Charles, LA passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019.  Stanley was born on March 16, 1929 to Francis and Agnes Stanley Warren in Jacksonville, FL.

Stanley proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force, Stan worked for and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Stan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He enjoyed playing golf, even at the age of 89.  He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church where he attended faithfully with his loving wife Belle. He was a kind and generous man, the epitome of a gentleman.

Mr. Warren is preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and his first wife of 55 years, Joyce Mae Janice Warren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Annie Belle Thibodeaux Warren and his two daughters, Michelle (Frank) Blackburn and Sandi Vandever along with 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves their beloved Chihuahua “Penny”.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1-3PM.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow officiated by Msgr. Charles Dubois.  Cremation had been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with expenses.
