Stella Ann Bumgarden

Stella Agnes Bumgarden 80 passed away on September 10, 2014 in a local hospital. Stella lived in Sulphur for over 60 years. Stella is survived by her husband of 63 years, E. O.K. Bumgarden of Sulphur; a son, David Wayne Bumgarden and wife, Dena; a daughter, Carol Ann Reed and husband, Garland all of Sulphur; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, James Lee Kourtney and Bennard John Kourtney; and 3 sisters, Bernice Lee Maddox, Esther Ray Hemmingway and Audria Chovanec. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Bumgarden. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Sulphur with Rev. Garland Reed, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. at the church. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff in ICU at West Cal-Cam Hospital and Dr. Stephen Castleberry.
