Stephanie Gantt Amos, 21, of Lake Charles passes away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Amarillo, TX in an automobile accident. Stephanie was born on September 28, 1993 in Lake Charles where she lived all of her life and attended Barbe High School. She took great pride in serving in the Army National Guard. During her high school years, Stephanie worked at Market Basket and later worked as shift manager at McDonalds. She most recently was employed at Fox's Pizza. She will be remembered for her constant smiling face and for being a devoted friend, always having a listening ear to lend. Stephanie's mother affectionately referred to her as her "princess." She was a dedicated mother to her two children and loved them dearly. Stephanie was a child of God with a strong Christian faith. Those left to cherish her memory are her two precious babies, Camrinn Amos and Landon Trahan; her parents, Lorie and Daniel Woodrow; her father, Russell Gantt all of Lake Charles; her fiancé, Michael Trahan of Sulphur; two sisters, Tiffanie and Hollie Gantt both of Lake Charles; a brother, Dustin Gantt of Moss Bluff; grandparents, Theresa Lyle of Lake Charles, Doris Green of Alabama, and Ron Gantt of Colorado; several nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her former husband and father of her daughter, Larry Amos of Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
