Steve George Benglis

Steve George Benglis, 62 of Sulphur passed away on December 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Joe Aquino officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 3-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until time of service. Steve was a native and life-long resident of Carlyss. He worked as a Planner for Citgo for 42 years and loved to fish and hunt. Steve is survived by his wife, Rachel Benglis of Carlyss; daughter, Stephanie Wilson of Sulphur; son, Nicholas Nick Benglis of Carlyss; three brothers, Ernest Benglis and wife, Linda, Louis Benglis and Lemuel Benglis all of Carlyss; 3 grandchildren, Lacie Wilson, Lisa Wilson and Desera McGowan all of Sulphur; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryan Wilson, Aries Alexander and Emma McGowan all of Sulphur.
