Steven Blaine Perritt

Steven Blaine Perritt, 26, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 in Lake Charles, LA. His time on earth was not nearly long enough but a father’s love is immeasurable. His spirit is carried on by his two beautiful daughters, Shae and Paysleigh.

Blaine was born on May 27, 1989 in Lake Charles, LA to Missie and Stan Perritt. Even as an adult he proudly showcased childhood trophies from baseball and basketball but later found a joy for golfing and loved bringing his daughters along. The girls would laugh when he used his preacher voice to share stories about their uncle in heaven. Blaine was very much a family man and cherished quality time with those he loved. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping in the great outdoors.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Patience Perritt of Sulphur, LA; two daughters, Shae Nichole Perritt of Moss Bluff, LA and Paysleigh Renaé Perritt of Sulphur, LA; mother of Shae, Tracey Marie Harland; mother, Missie Perritt of Lake Charles, LA; father, Stan Perritt and wife Cheryl of Sulphur, LA;; stepsisters Jordan Alleman and Harley Landry ; grandparents, Glenn and Loretta Leger of Palmetto, LA, Angelina and Julian Perritt of Zwolle, LA; grandparents by marriage, Kenneth and Theresa Broussard ;great grandmother, Amy Romero; father in law, Anthony Broussard and wife Angie Broussard; mother in law, Kisha Crochet and Mike Welch; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Stanley Shane Perritt; grandfather, Bill Lyons; great grandparents, Ulysses “B” Romero, Mary and Charles Pocorello, and Hassie Perritt and Samuel.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake, LA. Rev. Terry Ardizonne will officiate services.

Pallbearers for services will be Billy Toten, Johnathan Toten, Ryan Russell, Aaron Romero Sr, Aaron Romero Jr, and Blake Lyons.
