Steven Keith Gauthreaux

Steven Keith Gauthreaux, 55, of Lake Charles  passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, following an extended illness.

Steven was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, where he attended LaGrange High School and worked most of his life as a carpenter.

He was a die-hard LSU fan that enjoyed the outdoors, and spent much of his time socializing at his favorite local spots.

He leaves to honor in his memory, one son, Chase Gauthreaux (Kara) of Lake Charles; two grandsons, Oakley Dunaway and Denham Gauthreaux; his mother, Donelda Thibodeaux Gauthreaux; one sister, Debra Richard; two brothers, Mitchell Gauthreaux and Carl Gauthreaux (Pamela) and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred  Gauthreaux and sister, Geraldine Vezina.

Family and friends will gather in Steven’s honor from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2022 at University Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
