Sue Watson Duhon, 85 of Westlake passed away on December 23, 2014 in a local care center. Sue was born in Tatum, TX and grew up in Vinton, LA. She lived in Westlake for the past 54 years. Sue was of the Baptist faith and a great mother. She enjoyed woodworking, florist work, being a seamstress and art work. Sue is survived by her son, Vaughn Duhon and wife Elizabeth of Sulphur; her daughter, Charlotte Hewitt of Sulphur; 3 grandchildren, Brandee and Lance Duhon both of Lafayette, LA and Jason Hewitt of Baton Rouge, LA; 3 great grandchildren, Isabella and Lily Hewitt and Sophie Seirveld; and a half-sister, Katherine Courmier of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Duhon; her parents, Percy and Tressie Mae Watson, her 2 brothers, Bill Watson and Gwendolyn "Pud" Watson and a half- sister, Mildred Campbel. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. Burial will be held in Lee Cemetery in Vinton, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
