Susan Ardoin, 53, of Lake Charles, LA died Sunday, March 29, 2015. Susan was born on July 19, 1961 to Milton and Marjorie Roy in Lake Charles, LA. She was a lifetime native of Lake Charles, LA. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, cooking, and reading. She also liked being outdoors growing her plants and flowers. She is survived by her loving husband, John S. Ardoin; two children, Sara East and husband Jerry of Sulphur, LA and Andrea Logray and husband Lester, of Sulphur, LA; nine grandchildren, Britney, Desirae, Austin, Sydney, Logan, Adalynn, Kaylee, Ethan, Caysen; four siblings, Linda Moreno, Ella Jo Hymel and husband John, and Patricia Schooler and husband Jim ; two very special friends, Renne Hebert and Elaine Granger; and loving relatives, Tammy Gaspard and husband Jo Jo, Andy Ardoin and wife Kerry, Judi Kamouie and husband Abass, Elaine Guillory, Connie LeBlanc husband Larry, Patrick Ardoin and wife Jody, and Darleen Gueringer husband James. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Phillip Roy; and one sister, Roxy Buckles; and one son, Timmy Guillory Roy. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky Batchelor will officiate services.
