Susan was an amazing wife and mother and a phenomenal grandmother.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren compete in Equestrian competitions and would travel anywhere to be a part of their lives.  She gave her time to others without reservation and would never pass up the opportunity to put on a good garage sale.

She was an amazing cook and she leaves behind recipes that have been handed down from generations of wonderful cooks in her family. Her specialty and everyone’s all time favorite, Caramel Corn. Susan was incredibly giving of time and energy.  She made lifelong friends in Lake Charles through teaching and church.

She enjoyed her monthly Pokeno groups which started in 1986 and still continues monthly. She will be sorely missed by her family and loved ones. To know Susan was to love Susan.
