Susan Clemons

Susan Faye Clemons, 63, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She went to be with the Lord, peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Susan was married to her husband, Robert, for 40 years and was the mother of four children. She spent her entire life as a homemaker taking care of her husband, children, and later, her grandchildren. 

Susan grew up in Destin, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the lake, and laying out by the pool with her can of Crisco. 

Although Susan spent the last few years of her life battling illness and tragedy, she never saw the bad in people; only the good. Her children said that their mother was the most forgiving person. Despite losing two children and her husband within a small amount of time, she never lost faith in her God and never lost the hope that He provides to His faithful servants.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronald Clemons (Katrina) and Hollie Anderson (Jason); sister, Penny Cory; grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Aubree, Blake, Lylah, Skylah, Drake, Emma, Eli, and Betsy; one great-grandchild on the way; and her crazy dog, “Tazz”.

Susan is preceded in death by her two precious children, Daniel and Samantha Clemons; and her husband, Robert Clemons.

Graveside services for Susan will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Farquhar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, 2023.
