Susan Michele Comeaux

Susan Michele Comeaux, 50, of Rowlett, TX died at 11:54 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in a Rowlett hospital. Susan was born May 9, 1964 in Frankfurt, Germany, lived in Crowley, Westlake, and Topsy and resided in Rowlett, TX since 1997. She was a 1982 graduate Sam Houston High School and graduated from McNeese State University with her degree in Business Management. She worked in insurance for over twenty years, spending the past four years in AmWINS Specialty Auto out of Richardson, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockwall. Susan was generous with both her love and her time and loved her family dearly. Susan is survived by her parents, Rodney and Della Comeaux of Topsy, LA; sister, Julie Comeaux of Rowlett, TX; Godchild, Kristi Kelly; best friend, Deleta Cole; and her beloved dog, Cassie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Isaac and Aline Comeaux and Sidney and Hazel Watkins. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Topsy, 5311 Topsy Road, Lake Charles, LA 70611, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Lloyd Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Monday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, the Gideon's, or to the charity of one's choice.
