Susan Wesley Smith

Susan Wesley Smith, 60, of Sulphur, passed away on November 2, 2019. She was born on August 7, 1959 in Burlington, NC to Floyd Allen and Juanita Dean, and adopted by Henry and Marian Wesley. She had 8 brothers and sisters. Susan married Charles W. Smith II, also from Burlington, NC and had 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She spent the last 17 years of her life with her boyfriend, James Murphy. She was loved by many; her family and friends, coworkers and acquaintances. Susan was well known for her loving nature and opening her door and heart to those that needed it. For this, there are many that also called her “Mom”.

Susan is survived by her children, Chris Smith, Sasha Ferguson, and Bill Smith,  her grandchildren, Layla, Xavier, and Nikolas Ferguson, Landon Smith, and Graicen Brady, her sisters, Pat Wesley, Tina Jackson, Lisa Jackson, Sharon Welsh, Frances Murphy and Sheila Going, her brothers John Russell Allen, and Donald Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband, adopted parents, and her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Open Door Biker Church in Sulphur.
