Sybil Lowe

September 18, 1940 — June 18, 2016

Some of us learn to love in life and some learn to laugh. Others go through their entire life without learning these attributes. For our Mother; love was not something that she gave out freely. Though she loved us all she didn't say it on the regular or even follow it up with mushy hugs and kisses. Mom showed us in the way she cared for us and always put our needs before her own! She taught us to love deeply and strong. Sybil Ann Lowe (Minter) born  September 18, 1940 and passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016 surrounded by an intimate group of family. In Sybil's last hours she could be seen with a smile. Without a doubt we know this smile was because of her hope for the future of everlasting life on earth as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Sybil was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Virginia "Ginny" Perricone and Lloyd Cornelius Minter, brother Jack Mikesell, son David Lee Daigle, daughter Virginia Louise "Ginger" Boursaw, great grandchildren Deven and Baylee. Those of us left here shadowed by grief and embracing lots of fun memories are sisters Jody Holton (Edward), Connie Meshell (Glenn); son Toney LeBlanc wife Lisa; daughter Midge Powers husband Michael; granddaughters Echo (Jay), Candance (Josh), Elizabeth, Megan, Tristan, Laken, and Richlann; Grandsons, Bobby, Shon (Maryssa), Blake, Jimmy, James (Leslie) and Brandon. 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends of many decades Joy and Sylvia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Robison Johnson Funeral Home in Sulphur from 5-6:30 PM with a memorial service at 6:30 PM.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the team of Harbor Hospice for all their loving, attentive and gracious care of Momma.
