Syble Elizabeth Dulaney, 92, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 22, 2018.
She was born on June 12, 1926 in Jonesboro, Louisiana to George and Thressa Rhymes Watts. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook who served as a cafeteria manager for the Calcasieu Parish Schools for many years. She was kind and generous and had a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Darline Aucoin (Edward) and Alicia Ann Courville (Tony); grandchildren, Bobby Aucoin (Erin), Shannon Burt (Rusty), Tony Courville, Jr. (Deven); Brennon Courville (Angie), Regan Barney (Landon); 18 great grandchildren; and sister Elaine Stanton (Marvin).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Dulaney; granddaughter, Tammy Aucoin; sister, Linda Russell; and brother in law, Johnny Russell.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lake Charles. Bishop Rob Stott will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Old Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 PM until 8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and will continue on Wednesday from 10 AM until 11 AM at the church.
