Tallen Lee Holland

Tallen Lee Holland, 26, of Topsy passed away at 8:40 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2017 in his residence.

Tallen was born on March 19, 1991 in Lake Charles, LA and lived all of his life in Topsy. He was a graduate of South Beauregard High School where he played on the football team and was known for being a class clown. Tallen began a career welding and had worked with his dad.

He enjoyed fishing but most importantly he was a “Super Hero” to his children whom he adored and lived for.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carrie Ann Holland; three children, Mason, Bryson, and Hazel Holland; his parents, Sherwin and Nikki Holland; two brothers, Tanner and Shea Holland all of Topsy; maternal grandfather, Steve Reed of Deridder; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rolland and Willie Mae Holland and maternal grandmother, Dale Reed.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Reeves Bible Church in Reeves, LA. The Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday in the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
