Ted Arnold Trammel

Ted Arnold Trammel passed away peacefully at his home with his family on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, at the age of 82. He was born on April 14, 1938 and was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1956. Ted proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and his community as a Deputy with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.  He later retired from PPG Industries.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert E. and Thelma L. Funk Trammel; and his sister Natalie Dupuis. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol J. Brignac Trammel; his daughter, Julie A. Trammel; his son, Ricky W. Trammel (Lynn Chafin); and three grandchildren, Tyler, Tori and Taylor Trammel.

He will be remembered in a private family graveside memorial.
