Telitha Isabella Francis

Telitha Isabella Francis, 1 year old infant daughter of Sutton and Danielle Francis II of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away, Saturday, December 20, 2014 in a Houston, Texas hospital. Telitha was born at Women & Children's Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana on October 1st, 2013. Telitha is the first born child of parents Sutton Charles Francis II and Danielle Loftus Francis. Three months after her birth it was discovered that she had an enlarged heart. The effort to treat her with medicine was not successful and on February 20, 2014 she had heart surgery and received a Berlin heart device to help her heart function, and sustain her life until she received a heart transplant. April 16, 2014 Telitha was blessed by a donor family and received a heart from a 17 month old male. After months of recovery she was able to come home to Lake Charles on July 18, 2014. Although her condition prevented her from having close contact with many friends and relatives, they were able to share in her life story and journey on Facebook. Telitha gained a following of many people both near and far. Though some knew her only through Facebook, they would often state that by simply seeing the smile on her face or the light in her eyes had a positive effect on how they perceived and lived their life. On December 20, 2014 while lying in a Houston hospital the Lord called Telitha home. Telitha is survived by her parents Sutton "Skip" and Danielle Loftus Francis II; maternal great grandparent Carol Madden, maternal grandparents, Karen and Randy Rayon; Aunts and Uncles, Rosita Thomas, Cynthia M. Francis-Cason, Sandra C. Francis-Chinn and husband Bruce, Mark Demus, Iva E. Francis-Taylor, Samuel C. Francis and wife Aleksandra, Callie A. Loftus, Dustin K. Rayon, and Ashley D. Rayon. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sutton C. and Telitha J. Francis and her maternal grandfather, Steven Brian Loftus: and her maternal great grandparents, Lloyd and Judy Guidry, Larry and Alberta Rayon and Waverly "Jo" Loftus and Donald P. Madden. Her funeral will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Terry Ardizzone will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until time of service, Wednesday in the funeral home.
