Terry Clark Stevens

July 28, 1960 — November 6, 2021

Terry Clarke Stevens was taken out of this world doing what he loved the most on November 6, 2021, at the age of 61. Christ was his ultimate guide through life, and we find peace knowing that he is now walking in heaven. He was more than a son, husband, father, and brother. Terry was the man that would lend anyone a tool, the shirt off his back or the money in his pocket. He was always the greatest image of selflessness. When he wasn’t on a piece of equipment or didn’t have a chainsaw in his hand, you could find him surrounded by his dogs and the people he loved the most. Terry never met a stranger and was willing to tell anyone about the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Stevens, mother, Cathryn Stevens, brother, Wilfred Stevens, and father-in-law, Louis Bertrand.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy Stevens, son, Keith Stevens (Brooke Stevens), daughters, Kaleena Dugas (Ronny Dugas) and Katie Stevens, sister, Cathy Stevens, mother-in-law, Lena Bertrand and grandchildren, Emma and Abby Stevens and Reese Dugas.

Funeral services honoring Terry’s life will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, November 09, 2021, in Houston River Baptist Church Gym in Sulphur. Rev. Todd Schumacher will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery of Carlyss. Visitation will be held 5 – 9pm, Monday at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.
