Terry G. Dugas

Terry G. Dugas, 53, of Grand Lake, died at 5:04 PM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Dugas was a native of Lake Charles and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School.

After his graduation from high school he entered the U. S. Navy and after his discharge returned to Southwest Louisiana where he trained and became a certified air condition and refrigeration technician. He also was a expert carpenter and electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Guidry Dugas of Grand Lake; his mother and step-father, Margaret Miller Butts and James Butts; two daughters, Tabitha Dugas Conner of Sulphur and Karlee Dugas of Connecticut; one half brother Jeremy Dugas of Lake Charles, and three grandchildren, Alexis, Makenzy, and Joshua Conner.

His father, Larry Dugas, and two brothers, Larry James Dugas and Lonnie Darrell Dugas, preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Paul Estes will officiate. A gathering of friends will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
