Terry James Guillory, 65, of Lake Charles died at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Guillory was born on August 22, 1949 in Ville Platte, LA and was raised in Bunkie, LA. He was All-District and All-State in football at Bunkie High School. Mr. Guillory received a football scholarship to McNeese State University where he played as punter from 1968-1970 with outstanding accuracy. He retired from Air Liquide after 30 years and was currently employed as the maintenance supervisor at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Turner Guillory; children, Edwin E. Guillory and fiancé Michelle LeBoeuf and Terri Lyn Guillory Aubey and husband Joel all of Lake Charles; brothers, Elwood Guillory, Jr. of Cottonport, LA and Vincent Guillory of Bunkie, LA; sisters, Rita Vidrine of Lone Pine, LA, Janice Basco of Lone Pine, LA, Cynthia Gaspard of Baton Rouge, and Lisa Guillory of Bunkie, LA; grandchildren, Blaine Guillory and wife Mary, Maegan Guillory, Tylor Fontenot, Turner Aubey, and Tatum Aubey; future step grandchildren, Brandon and Christopher LeBoeuf; great grandchildren, Waylon Benoit and Hayden Guillory; and a special niece and nephew, Ann Guillory Soileau and Vincent Guillory, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Guillory. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a scripture service being held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 12:30 PM.
