Thelma Mary O'Quain

Thelma Mary O'Quain, 78 of Sulphur passed away on June 13, 2014 in a local care center. She was a native of Welsh and a life-long resident of Sulphur. Thelma worked many years for the Southwest Daily News and also Below The Mantle Fireplace Company. Thelma is survived by her three children, Katy Peveto and husband, Randy of Sulphur, Lisa Ortego and husband, Ron of Opelousas and Louis O'Quain and wife, Jo-Cinda of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, Colby Peveto, Devan Greer, Tasha Viator, Casey Peveto and Zane Brane; 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Russell Leger and wife, Bettie, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson R. O'Quain. The family has entrusted cremation to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. There will be a private family service.
