Thelma "Tj" Jean Savant

Thelma Jean “TJ” Savant was born June 28, 1942 in Nacogdoches, TX. She was one of four children born to Ulrich Franklin Pool and Thelma Pool.

TJ will best be remembered for her love of family, zest for life, and embodiment of laughter and humor.

She was a hoot of a mother, the favorite rambunctious aunt, and a loving grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with friends and family, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and the more than occasional humorous prank.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma, and a granddaughter Ruby Ellen Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory and carry on her zest for laughter include a son Brian Keith Miller and two daughters Renee Miller and Melissa Miller; grandchildren Cooper Ryan Miller, Dylan Ray Miller, and Mia Blythe Miller; great grandchildren Dominic Guerrero, Gabriel Guerrero, Ruby Ann Miller, Kennedy Joyce Miller, and Logan Asher Miller; two brothers Ulrich Carlton Pool and Joe David Pool; one sister Laquita Roberts and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 beginning 4pm to 8pm at Johnson Funeral Home.
