Theresa "Glenda" Frazier

Theresa “Glenda” Fontenot Frazier, 76, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away at 8:14 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Frazier was born February 24, 1946 in Mamou, LA, and was raised in Lake Charles, where she lived until moving to Moss Bluff in 1984. She attended LaGrange High School and began working at George Theriot’s, where she was introduced to the love of her life, Howard Frazier. Her career as a hairdresser enabled her to stay active with her children’s’ endeavors when they were younger. She always supported them and could often be found helping to coach their softball and baseball teams. She also enjoyed crocheting. She was raised catholic and attended St. Margaret’s and later St. Theodore Catholic Church.

Mrs. Frazier is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Frazier (Tara); daughters, Rhonda Frazier Salvador, Donna Frazier LaBove (Robert) and Catherine Frazier Webb; sister, Loretta Billedeaux; grandchildren, Haley Johnson (Chris), Madison Guilbeaux (Grant), Jade Salvador, Spencer Salvador, Harlee LeBleu (Trystan Alexander), Skye Frazier (Amanda Langley) and Chase Moore (Krystal); and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Frazier; parents, Clifford and Verline Fontenot; and brother-in-law, Reggie Billedeaux.

A gathering of family members and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary to begin at 4:00. A private interment will be at Consolata Cemetery at a later date.

The family would like to express a special word of thanks to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, 8th floor, for the care and compassion given during this difficult time.
