Theresa L. Nugent

Theresa Lampirez Nugent, 58, of Hecker passed away, Sunday, May 6, 2012 in her residence.

She was a native of Vinton and lived in the Lake Charles/Iowa area most of her life. Mrs. Nugent worked for Wal-Mart for many years and she was a faithful member of Lake City Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of forty-two years Irvin L. Nugent of Hecker; five sons; Irvin L. Nugent, Jr. and wife Debra Faye, Wesley Andrew Nugent and wife Sandy, David Wayne Nugent and wife Debra Ann, Christopher Leo Nugent, and Travis Trey Nugent and wife Jessica; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Pauline Baker and husband Brad, Mary Landry, Sheryl Grisby and husband Paul, and Annie Mae Grisby and husband Andrew; one brother, Claiborne Lampirez and wife Brenda. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Marcus Paul Nugent, Cristin and Katie Grubbs; her parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Lake City Baptist Church. Pastor Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will be in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home and continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service at the church.
