Thomas Eugene Bellard

Thomas Tom Eugene Bellard, 58, Died Thursday November 22, 2012, in his Vinton home. Tom lived in Lake Charles since 1990, was a native of Vinton, LA.

Tom attended Living Way Pentecostal Church, and walked in faith until his death. He was a Boiler Maker out of the Orange Local for years. He worked for PPG Industries as a Shift Mechanic until his death. Tom was a Charter member of Calcasieu Street Rodders Car Club, sharing his passion for Street Rods. He had an incredible talent for custom car and motorcycle building. He enjoyed cruising and riding his motorcycle with family and friends. Tom was a selfless caring man, but most of all he was a good Dad and an amazing husband.

He leaves behind his loving wife, best friend, and soul mate Rita Babineaux Bellard. His adopted mother Margaret Watson of Vinton, his son Haley Bellard, wife Tammy of Vinton, daughters Shannon Amy, husband Chris of Lake Charles, Amanda Acosta, husband Mike of Baton Rouge, Belinda Landry of Lake Charles, and son David Vidrine, Jr., wife Melissa of Longville, two four legged children Smokie and Lil Bit. He had 10 grandchildren he loved very much, and 1 four legged granddaughter Gracie. He is preceded in death by his daughter Lacy J Bellard.

His visitation and funeral will be held at Johnson Funeral home Lake Charles. Visitation Saturday November 24, 2012 4:00 - 10:00pm and Sunday November 25, 2012 8:00am until service, at 1:00pm, Bro. Gerald Price and Bro. Grady O'Neil will officiate the service. The burial will be in Lee Cemetery Vinton HWY 109S, Bro. Rob Tibbitts officiating the graveside service. Pallbearers include Ron Bellow, Thomas Barton, Raleigh Newman, Steve Guillory, Bill Chenevert, and Berchman Pappion.
