Thomas Johnson

Thomas “Tom” Adam Johnson, 34, of Lake Charles, LA, died on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Tom was born November 26, 1986 in Port Arthur, TX and was a graduate of Bridge City High School, where he was active with the debate team.  He graduated from McNeese State University and began his career as a software engineer, most recently working for Ansira.  He had a love for computers and an infectious smile that will not be forgotten.

Tom is survived by his mother, Donna Johnson of Bridge City, TX; children Penelope Johnson and Cyril Johnson of Iowa, LA; brothers, Marcus Johnson and wife Suzanne of Lake Charles, Mathew Johnson and wife Leah of Pearland, TX, and Kendall Johnson and wife Breanne of Waco, TX; God-parents, Calvin and Debbie Falcon of Lake Charles; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and mother of his children, Jennifer Johnson of Iowa, LA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Johnson; and all of his grandparents.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. Henry Catholic Church, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Father Mathew Cormier will officiate.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be at St. Henry Catholic Church on Friday from 1:00 PM until the start of the service at 2:00 PM.
