Thomas Jones

Thomas F. Jones, 80, of Sulphur, LA passed away on June 10, 2022, in a local hospital.  Thomas was born on April 5, 1942, in Trenton, NE to Lewis and Pauline Jones.  Tom married Janice Slade and they moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where he worked many years as a delivery drive for the state of Wyoming, then traveled before settling in Sulphur.  He was a man of many talents, especially carpentry and repairs of anything with a motor.  He enjoyed being on his computer researching and learning.  Most recently he had been collecting and repairing old pocket watches and would make sure to send his sister a picture of his new find.  

He leaves behind his sisters Bonnie Owens of Osmond, NE and Janice Huser of Imperial, NE; his son, Davis Wright of Cheyenne, WY, many nieces and nephews and cousins; two friends, Don and Dianne Lyons; and one dog, Rags.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister, Shirley, and brother, Bob.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
